Commission Process

Choose a Photo

The first step is to choose the right photograph. This step is the most important. Make sure the picture is detailed and in focus. I can only draw what I see, so the better the photograph the better the detail I can provide and the better I can catch that perfect expression.

If you are not sure about the photograph and/or have a question, you may attach your photo and send me a short message using the "Chat with me" button at the bottom of the page. If you have a larger photo, or multiple photos, you may send it/them to me using the drop box on the "Contact" page.

Also, take a look at the "Photography- Tips for Selecting the Best Photo for Your Portrait" page for suggestions on picking the right photo.

Finally, I work on an 8 to 12 week timetable, please let me know in advance if you need the drawing by a specific date.
